This is something I never anticipated writing. I have an opportunity to acquire a Caribbean live-aboard type boat so I have to part with my much-loved and well cared for C&C 40 tall rig/deep keel Peregrine.She has numerous bags of sails all in good to excellent condition (the sails as well as the bags), including Dacron cruising and racing mains and a Gennaker on a snuffer. New gear within the last three years includes a windlass and anchor roller, refrigeration, radar/plotter, below-deck autopilot, and new Yanmar 3YM30AE engine last august. In addition, the rod rigging was re-headed last year, except for the V2/D3s, which were replaced by Southern Spars. The running rigging is either new last year or in excellent condition. She is available for inspection in Portsmouth, RI. Peregrine has always been well cared for and I even have dropped a line to her previous owners thanking them for taking such good care of her. The new boat isn't a C&C, but I hope you guys will still talk to me.
