Hello all, I am going to replace the plexiglass on my companionway. The sliding part is easy. However, for the fixed portion forward of slider, it is stuck down to fiberglass. I am guessing that it was originally installed with Plexus like the fixed ports on the side were done. Can anyone confirm that?
As for removing the plexi, should I simply tap a few putty knives in between the plexi and the fiberglass to pop it loose, or do you have a better idea? Then seal with VHB tape, correct?
