A word of caution on replacement handles. I purchased lovely stainless
steel replacement handles for my Edson pedestal (I believe it was also
marinepartdepot), that are bigger than what came with the boat. The first
time I backed out of the slip (20 knot breeze, of course), I pushed the F/R
handle into forward, and it hit the pedestal guard before engaging. No
forward gear. Fixable, of course, but you want to make sure everything
works before venturing out.
