Grenada is lovely. If you are up for longer passages, you can also sail
north to Dominica, Martinique, etc., all the way to Antigua, and back.
That's assuming the rules of your charter allow it. The French islands are
the best, imagine France in the Caribbean. Real coffee, good wine, and all
other goodies ... yeah, one goes for the sailing, but I like my cup of
coffee, too :)

Where will you charter in Grenada? I sailed on deliveries between the
islands, so I never chartered. Any recommendations for charter companies?
Grenada is a great option for this season after the charter fleet was hit
so badly in the VIs and other places. :(

You can fly directly to Grenada. Airfare was very cheap from/to the
Northeast US last season (except right before or after major regattas).

Make sure you have the Imray charts for the Caribbean. You can buy them in
Island Water World on the islands, if not before.

Oh my, trade winds! Just thinking of them makes me restless. Anyone needs
crew for the Caribbean? I'll work for food. :))
