That's a good idea, and not something I would've thought of probably. I had already tried tightening the screws on the hinges, since sometimes those loosen up.
The port side of my door (hinge side) has about 1/16" - 1/8" clearance, so there's room to recess the hinges a bit. I'll have to form a recess for both halves of the hinge - ie, the hinges have one part on the frame and two parts on the door, I'll need to carve a recess for the two parts on the door to seat into the frame.
