Fred and Chuck, Thank you for the additional responses. And +1 to Bill's idea of changing to a harness and padded life jacket when your really getting tossed around...sort of like a QB rib protector...I'm getting to old to be taking shots to the ribs :) Fred, your link to the flat webbing...what kind of attachments/fasteners to you use for this kind of webbing. I see some of the jack lines are sold with loops on the ends? Thanks again, Graham

I was poking around on the Defender and West Marine Websites already this morning to get some ideas, but had no basis for making a choice. Your responses will help. If I do end up buying from Defender, will definitely wait for the sale! Joel, any particular specs on the climbing webbing?? I'm not familiar with climbing gear. My inflatable life jacket has a d ring attachment, but is it better to use an harness anyway? Make no difference?
