The Rule 500 automatic bilge pump that came with my 1986 29-2 died. Bought what I thought was an identical replacement (Rule-Mate Automatic Model RUL-RM500A). The new pump is slightly larger than the original and won't fit on the floor of the bilge in the deepest forward part of the bilge because it catches the edge of the keel bolt. The keel bolt is a couple inches high and it takes 2.5" of water depth for the pump to activate so there is always at least 4" of water sloshing around in the deepest part of the keel. Any 29-2 owners have a recommendation for a pump that will fit the very confined space in front of the keel bolt? Thanks. Bruce SV Gyrfalcon 1986 29-2 Kootenay Lake, BC
