Hello, I need to replace the cutlass bearing on my 1981 C&C 32. It has a one inch prop shaft.
I noticed a problem when I had my boat hauled for cleaning and bottom paint. Unfortunately, my boat was placed back in the water before I could measure the outside diameter of the cutlass bearing. Does anyone know what is the outside diameter, OD, of the cutlass bearing that I need to order for a one inch ID ?? -- I believe that both the C&C 32 and 43 used the same cutlass bearing. Has anyone had experience using the "StrutPro" cutlass bearing extraction tool? I would like to replace the cutlass bearing without having to remove the prop shaft. thanks - Erik -- Erik the Red -- a Norse of a different Color
