Hi Ron, You refer to a "strap loop" that goes through the tack cringle. I think this is exactly what i'm missing! Where do I get one of these? Or how do I make one?
For the past two years i've just been trying to hook the cringle onto the reefing hook on the boom...this doesn't work very well and it can damage the sail.
