Honda was the first to make these small inverter generators and theirs are reasonably quiet, though you probably won't make any friends running this in a silent anchorage at night. If you have to sit i on deck you will find it noisier below that above as the deck is like a soundboard. If you can leave it on the dock while it is running you will likely find it to be quiet. This one does seem to output 12 DC, 8 amps, directly. Look at the photos on the website. What did you want to do with it / use it for? Ken H.
