There are (were?) a few guys in Toronto, who did that a few years back. And if I remember correctly, they did it on a 30-something foot boat. So it is doable.
Maybe someone from that area has the contacts. Marek In Ottawa, ON PS. And completely off topic, I am just coming back form a great ski trip (Big White, BC). Day 1 we got 45 cm (~18 in) of fresh powder! It is like 20 kt wind on the beam and no waves. C&Cs in general would not be my first pick for icebreaking duty if the Northwest Passage is what you meant, but we had a guy from Annapolis do it in a Vega 27. You would be living in luxury compared to that boat. To be fair, most surveyors cannot realistically know the specific issues to look for in each model. That said, we are in C&C land and several of the local surveyors know the boats and a few actually worked for C&C over the years. (one - a dutch name escapes me, but a good guy and he's down your way.) >>>snip _______________________________________________ Email address: CnC-List@cnc-list.com To change your list preferences, including unsubscribing -- go to the bottom of page at: http://cnc-list.com/mailman/listinfo/cnc-list_cnc-list.com
