The crew prefers Stugeron when racing. I am told it works well and causes less drowsiness. Everyone brings some back when traveling abroad.
Some topic drift. I was in Antigua bareboating for 8 days, had a Jeanneau 41 with a Raymarine A series chartplotter. While I liked it I was surprised how sensitive it was to a splash of salt water. We could lock the touchscreen out, but when trying to beat up the Goat Head or Boon channel zooming in and out helped. Didn't want to do a Team Vestas. Also, the email reader on my Asus Android tablet plus the really bad WiFi speeds when available made for tough reading when the replies were not trimmed. Not that I really cared much ;-) The trip to Barbuda was fun despite picking a day with a small craft warning. About half way over we got hit by a square pop up wave. Looked to be about the height of the bimini before we got the bow into it. It easily crested the lifelines, knocked two people down in the cockpit and the skipper off the wheel. Even filled the beverage cans with water. The chartplotter went into some strange set up mode, ended up having to do a power reset and them set stuff back up. I would assume it was a rare event, but still surprised us. I was asking about buying Cinnarizine (Stugeron) on line as it is not sold in the US. Joel 35/3 Annapolis
