Edd, The 9" screen in the eS Series is dearer than the 7" screen but still worth looking at for the reasons given by Fred. I'm going with the 7" version as I set up "Sea Mistress" from scratch with a fully integrated Raymarine system. Looked seriously at the 9" but I found the 7" screen to be more than acceptable - same size as my Samsung phone which I have no trouble reading.
