Definitely wear a proper mask when sanding. Scrape first to minimize the dust in the air.Collect the dust as best you can (you don't want it in the boat) and double bag for disposal. Remember it is considered a hazardous waste and the RCRA rules apply.RonWild CheriC&C30-1STL
