We had three at one time here at Carlyle lake. They were of '73 vintage and two were shoal draft with specs just under 5ft, like 4'9", and the other was just over 5ft; 5'3" IIRC. That one had been stiffened with braces inside by the chainplate attachment for racing the SORC. However, I don't recall anything about changing the keel.RonWild CheriC&C 30-1STL

The deep draft keel was 5’ and the shoal draft was 4’ 3”. We owned a shoal draft version. not sure how the ad came up with a 4’7” measurement.JamesDelaneyC&C 38 1976Oriental, NC
