Please note that ST40/i40/i50 and ST60+ displays will only work as
repeaters if used with the above transducers. You cannot calibrate the
transducers from these instruments. For calibration you would require a
following SeaTalkng instrument: ST70, ST70+ or i70 display in your network."

Sounds like it'll work, but not really. How big of a deal is this? I want
new instruments anyway but new instruments don't come with a smart
transducer like this and I want to get rid of the existing depth without
drilling another hole or going through-the-hull like it is now.
