I got told by the RC at the end of a race in Montreal as I passed the finish line “If we knew you were racing, we would have brought a calendar.”

A few years ago, when I was racing my Mirage 25 boat for boat against another Mirage 25, a young chap yelled over that they were gonna "kick my ass". After the race was over and they were beaten by about 20 min. they sailed past my mooring. I yelled over "hey Matt, I tried to hail you on the VHF but you must have been out of range, then I tried your cell but the recording said I would have to pay long distance charges" He was quiter next race.
