I agree with Fred, although I have a 37 and my tank specs will be different from the 38; I placed my tank this spring, and I went with Kracor; they were excellent to work with and shipped on time; I would recommend them to anyone replacing an older tank...no affiliation, ymmv, ... etc

And the LF38! Both excellent choices… :^) The original tank in my 1979 LF38, hull number 009, was made by Kracor up here in Wisconsin; it’s 32 gallons, and their mold number 5064. I'll email you a PDF spec sheet on the tank offline. As far as I know, you can still get these from Kracor. — Fred Fred Street -- Minneapolis S/V Oceanis (1979 C&C Landfall 38) -- Bayfield, WI On May 9, 2015, at 9:11 AM, adrian via CnC-List < cnc-list@cnc-list.com> wrote: Hi Everyone, I am a new LF 38 owner in the Annapolis area. The brown water holding tank on my boat failed prior to my purchase and had been removed. My LF 38 has the STBD quarterberth, not the nav station. The holding tank will go under this berth. While I am open to thoughts around soft tanks or composting heads, I am most interested in finding out if anyone can tell me the make/model/size of the original holding tank so I can determine if I can replace it or look to another vendor/option. Thanks in advance.
