I just replaced the B&G Hercules System 190. I had the two cockpit multifunction displays refurbished (new LEDs and internal batteries) at a cost of $520 but then lost the vane on the "C" type masthead unit. Couldn't find a replacement "C" style masthead unit but was told by Jake, the person at B&G in Fort Lauderdale who refurbished the displays that the current B&G masthead unit (~$900 with cable) will work with this system. Rather than do that I decided to just bite the bullet and replace the 1984 electronics with new Raymarine instruments. The specific components I have are all functional and in good condition. The specific components are;
System 190 Computer Unit System 190 Master Keyboard 3, MK2 multifunction Displays. New B&G Covers for the cockpit displays. The third display was in the navigation area and is like new. So, if there is anyone trying to keep their old B&G system running I can provide this equipment to you for whatever you think is a fair price.
