Rex: There is a school of thought that says it really doesn’t matter where you mount it. If you need it, it will get deployed. Not entirely true but not completely wrong either. I’d vote for stern but wherever is convenient and modify your plans accordingly. Don’t block your visibility. The “rail” comment concerns me as you really want it secure. A wonderful cockpit table?
