I love Antigua, too, but there is definitely crime there. Nothing to worry about if you're not stupid, but there are lots of yachties with pockets full of cash wandering around Falmouth and the Dockyard in various states of sobriety and the wolves know it. Just be careful at night. St Martin and st Thomas are the places you want to avoid because of crime.
