Paul, Did you ask for 1.5 ounce? In light to moderate air .75 is plenty. If it is blowing you will probably use your jib. 24 feet is plenty of chute! I have a dacron jib from National Sails/Rolly Tasker. Very happy after 3 seasons. No experience with their chutes or socks.
