Also had a good weekend! Saturday we participated in the world's longest
across the water tug of war -the Slaughter Across the water:

Sunday Sue was one of nearly 20,000 runners who did the Chesapeake Bay
Bridge 10k. In August I thought it would be cool to sail along the bridge
as she ran. It was about 45 degrees with hen I left the dock at 6:30. Got
to the bridge at 8:45 in time for the 9:00 start. I got as close to the
end of the bridge as I could and about the time she hit the bridge set the
asym. We were able to shout and wave at each other. Wind was light so I
motor-sailed along the bridge to the other side. We waved at each other
before I turned. There was a security zone and police boats, but they left
me alone. The wind filled in from behind, so I ran wing and wing with the
asym in 5-6 knot winds back to Thomas Point, then reached up the South
River until the wind shifted 90 degrees.

Not bad for mid-November!
