Documenting your vessel with USCG is a LEGAL transaction. The doc center wants docs with ORIGINAL signatures. NO copies!!!
When I was transferring the doc for Touché. The PO had failed to clear a $62,400 mortgage on the boat which he failed to disclose at purchase. The doc center refused to accept a copy of his satisfaction of mortgage. Dennis C.
