Nuts are 6 sided while the winch handle is square or 8 sided, I think. The plate at the bottom is square. I just use my winch handles. Why carry something special when the caps were intended for something convenient?
Another method: Wax the cap and use it as a mold to fashion a key using epoxy. Don't lose the key. ----- Original Message ----- From: "CNC boat owners, cnc-list" <cnc-list@cnc-list.com> To: "Kim Brown" <kimcbr...@comcast.net>, "CNC boat owners, cnc-list" <cnc-list@cnc-list.com> Sent: Saturday, October 18, 2014 10:44:56 AM Subject: Re: Stus-List Tank fill Key Can you make one from a T-bolt and some large nuts? Had a small plastic Barient key that was very handy to use. It is MIA. Any source for a replacement? Winch handles work fine but the little plastic key fits in the pocket better....
