I had a backstay cylinder fail while on an ocean race. Spilled hydraulic fluid all over the cockpit floor. Jim Watts arranged for a local shop in Victoria to do the repair. No problems with the repair. When I had problems with the pump that controls the vang and backstay, I used a repair shop in Seattle. Great service. He even followed up with me by phone, a year after he did the repairs. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs hydraulic repairs done: Lew Townsend, (206) 498-7282
