Nasty to say the least. This 39 still has the original old style rudder
from '71. Our 39 TM # 69 was built in '74 and in late '75 C&C sent us an
updated rudder free of charge, we paid only the return freight to send them
the crappy original rudder. We have since changed that one out for a custom
elliptical rudder making the the old girl sail IMHO 100% better on all
points of sail.
