Sunday 4pm. Assuming I can work around the rain. So ... bottom fully stripped to bare fiberglass (combo of Franmar Soy Strip and sanding). I think the final count on blisters was 10, filled with West Epoxy. Filled the C&C smile with West GFlex. Filled the recesses from the oversized C&C flush-mount thru-hulls (convert to mushroom style). Five coats of Interlux Interprotect 2000e. Base hard coat (Interlux Fiberglass Bottomcoat). Top coats of Pettit Horizons ablative. Repaired stern tube. New PSS dripless seal and new cutlass bearing. New fairing block for the depth transducer. And of course the new name.
Now fighting to get the new thru hulls installed and the various coats under the stand pads and the last coat of bottom paint.
