I've got one of those ... my engagement lever actually stopped working entirely several days into a two week cruise last year. My problem was the pin. There is a little metal pin that holds a cam in place .. if you take it apart you will see what I mean. I think that pin is a huge liability, mine just sheared .. broken, done. At the time all I had was a drill bit .. I jammed it in there (thinking drill bits are made of hard metal) and snapped it off. It works great now .. except i put it all together backwards so now you push down on the lever to engage. It's less optimal than the factory behaviour but it works.
