Rick, I did the repair just like the list suggested; I have the Al frames. However, I tried to have just one cut in the spline that holds the lens in place. In other words, a single piece. Unfortunately, in the temp range we get here in STL, the expansion/contraction tends to pull the spline from the corners. It hasn't leaked, but I spend time pushing it back in place. If/when I do it again, I'll add more cuts (pieces) and cut wedges out of the spline at the corners to allow them to seat better. Ron Wild Cheri C&C 30-1
