When Rob from South Shore did mine last year he arrived with an eye roll 
pressed on the cable for the board end, lead the cable thru, and used a large 
hand sewage tool  to put 2 sewage ferrules on deck ....

Hard parts were removing the old pin at the keel, and fishing the cable as the 
old one had broken :(
