Launched Resolute today. Many weekends preparing and projects and working around the weather. This is the earliest I ever launched in 12 years of ownership. The day started out grey and damp, 50 degrees but damp and rain threatening and 20 to 30 knot winds. Launch and docking went smooth but too windy to bend on the sails. The wife came up for lunch when it was 70 degrees, bright sun and breezey, and "My she is yar!"
Running the gauntlet tomorrow morn, bare poles, timing the 3.6 high tide over 4ft channel (we draw 6'3") to get her to a friend's slip for a week in AC, then waiting for the opposite tide to run up Delaware river to C&D canal and into the Chesepeake. Tonight I uploaded new Garmin charts and charging VHF, spotlight, cell phone, and jump starter. Hope your projects are coming together. Chuck Resolute 1990 C&C 34R Atlantic City, NJ
