Checked my Olin flaregun kit and found a half cup of water in the bottom and all four parachute flare shells were ruined. They are only two years old so I'm upset I have to buy new ones. The Olin container is stored low and not watertight and bilge water must have gotten into it when we were hard over for a hard beat? Not sure. The other expired flares and shells I keep in a pretzel jar, same place are dry. The bottom of the storage bin is also dry, but it's been 8 months since that hard beat. I trashed the Olin container and I'm enjoying eating pretzels to gain a new watertight container prior to launch.
