marvel magic mystery oil works great on cylinders atomic 4 ,used it on a4 s for years,... calms engine down til it almost purrs....as for diesels you usually add it to fuel , most widely used by large tractor trailer haulers who add it to fuel .... large marine diesel mechanics use it when tuning engines.... if had older marine diesel would use it. knew of one user in virgin islands who used it for at least 25 yrs on his very then old volvo diesel...it worked for him...it seemed to help with overheating problems.....product info stated to be added to diesel fuel
