depends on if a newport 41 or redline 41 or crusader model ....newports most of them had balsa core in hull ..might be delamanation below waterline, fixable but lot of work......latter two models no balsa core in hull....if hull still true in shape ..not difficult to redo...great sailing hulls....you are buying for cost of engine &winches.....would want to be sure not been sunk in salt water ,makes lot more work if has been sunk....am considering purchasing...if enough info can be obtained before flying down....
