Hi all, If you sail where the water is warm, lets say the Caribbean...you have to try the "savon de mer", it is biodégradable and is made for salt water (available at Budget marine). So just jump in the warm water, soap, jump back to rinse with salt water and then... Use just a little fresh water to rinse from the cockpit shower. This stuff really works well and you feel nice and clean. only drawback... A little pricey, but you dont need much, we did 2 weeks of charter in the BVIs and all four of us showered every day with one bottle. Yes the big swim platform of the Hanse 385 really helped to make this a fun activity after the first cocktail!
Since i had my boardshorts on everyday, i was doing my laundry at the same time and not showing too much for the crowd... up north its annoter story...
