Hi Andrew, I look forward to meeting you at this event. I will also be there, having been asked to say a few words about the early days of C&C Yachts, with specific regard to the New Age of Sail exhibit at the Marine Museum of the Great Lakes at Kingston (ON) this summer. The new C&C through USWatercraft is one of our sponsors for this exhibit, as is Good Old Boat magazine. The exhibit in Kingston will document the huge growth in sailing in the 1960s and 70 in Canada brought on by a postwar boom economy and the introduction of fiberglass boat building. C&C Yachts, with (Big) George Cuthbertson and (Little) George Cassian,, George (the Third) Hinterhoeller, Erich Bruckmann, Ian Morch, Rob Ball, Barry Carroll, and many others, was very much a part of that important era in sailing. It is one of the few "brands" which has survived from those early days.
