Wow! Using a C&C 30 to deliver farm produce on Puget Sound? Part of me says, I'm glad someone is doing that and another part of me wonders how this can be more economical than trucking it. Many times, that area has little to no wind and kayaks are faster than sailboats. They must truck it to and from the farm to the boat? Wouldn't it be more reliable and economical to simply drive it in a hybrid or a 50 - 75 mile per gallon diesel station wagon? They must be all volunteer sailors? If they are paid, the price of the produce would be astronomical. Am I missing something?
