Sam - I was all set to rave about my Autostream feathering prop, then noticed from other posts that we're talking about a 26 foot boat. My Autostream looks big and clunky on my 38 foot boat, and I don't know if they make a smaller sized unit for smaller shafts. It would be worth a call, if you're into it. I definitely like it over the Maxprop, because it's stainless steel, and the zincs for it have a SS sheath over the single bolt, and thus the zincs don't fall off. You can also adjust the pitch under water, if you can hold your breath that long <G>. It has an external grease nipple, so you don't have to disassemble it when you haul out to repack it -- just put a grease gun on and a hunk of plastic or cardboard on the ground and pump away until new grease gooshes out all over the place.

Before that I had a Campbell prop and really liked it. If I owned a smaller boat I'd probably go that route. In fact, if I have to replace the Autostream I'd probably put another Campbell on. I only replaced it because I was in a hot marina and it was turning red, despite zinc changes every three months. (Yes, it was a hot marina. Since I've been cruising my zincs last two years.)

Anyone got any comments/observations/likes/dislikes.
Any experience good or bad with any type of folding/feathering prop would be useful. Any other manufacturers recommended.
