Rob,

Second your opinion

The Alerion Express 28 and a number of J Boats built by US Watercraft, that
I have sailed on over the years show all signs of being been well
constructed. Looking at bulkhead to hull attachments, deck to hull joints
and other details of construction suggest that skill and care were applied.

The brand name could have found a far worse home/trustee and appears to be
in good hands. I wish the new owners the best of luck in a very challenging
marketplace.

Subject: Stus-List Re Annapolis Boat Show - new C&C owners

FWIW, The new owners of the C&C brand have shown an interest in connecting
with the C&C legacy. They are offering to assist in hosting our 2014
Northeast Rendezvous if its held near the new factory in RI.

They were kind enough to get in touch with us through Andrew so we could
announce their acquisition of the brand after Rob Balls talk at the Block
Island Historical Museum in September, along with their hopes for a
relationship with us classic C&C enthusiasts.

They seemed sincere. Hopefully there is follow through.

One final word on the subject of brand acquisition... Alerion
