early c&c 38smk1 should be considered...but for single handed or short crew c&c design newport 41 mk1 even better ...better load carrier ..more stable sailing plateform....& actually easier to sail.......sail area is manage able with good furling system....as well as a lot of time dont even need main....newport is taken from c&c designed redline 41...which is even better to consider...all 3 of these models designed by cuthbetson....give smoother ride in choppy waters than most later designs...
