Joel,
I use the inner tracks up to about 12 kts true wind. After that, I move to the outer tracks and control the amount of wind that is spilled by moving the car aft a bit. For my 20 year old spinnakers, ½ oz. in ten knots or less. Everything else gets the ¾ oz. Id run the inner tracks and the light chute! The boat seems to point better using the inner track, but the slot seems narrower. At what wind speed do you go from the 1/2 ounce chute to the 3/4 ounce chute? Forecast is for 8-10. Am I on the border line for both? -- Joel 301 541 8551
