Jerry and Karen at Good Old Boat had (have?) a Mega that Jerry was trying to get rigged for trailer-sailing back when I worked for them. I remember him talking about how light the mast was; maybe that's the issue? Makes sense to make it easy to step/unstep for the whole trailerable thing.
