I'm looking at my Edson catalog from 2003. The photos show quadrants in numbers
up orientation and the sketches show them installed w numbers down. It seems to
me they intended the numbers down, so the quadrant doesn't trap moisture/dirt?
Allignment is the most important thing.

Subject: Stus-List steering quadrant - which way up?

Which way is up on the quadrant? The recessed side with the numbers stamped in
the casting, or the flat side?
