Finally got Touché out today to try the new jibsheets. 8-15 variable on
Pensacola Bay. Few small cells around to make things interesting.

The new sheets are 3/8 VPC with APSltd's version of Dyneema soft shackles.
They are a definite improvement over the bowline knots in the old 7/16 StaSet.
Sheets slid across the forward lower shrouds with very little hang up.

The new VPC is slicker than the old StaSet. This helped them move across the
shrouds but I felt I needed an extra wrap on the winches. I expect they will
soften and fluff up with use.

The "hand" of the VPC was nice. I wasn't using gloves and was still able to
haul in easily. I expect if I was racing, I opt for gloves.

The VPC eased very nicely on the winch. The StaSet jerked ever so slightly on
easing. The VPC fed onto and climbed the skirt on the winch drum smoothly and
without noise or jerking.

Overall Admiral and I are pleased. Boat seemed happy, too.
