Martin,

Is your boat at Knight's in Rockland?  I had Bojangles there for a
year when we came back from the Caribbean.

Nice cruising in that area.
You've got a bunch of great anchorages within 5 miles of Rockland.
And then a bunch more as you head south.  Be sure to explore a bit
before heading back to NYC.
