I have been following the list for a while and have just purchased a 1977 C&C 26. Mistress is in very good condition and is well rigged and has good sails. And even though she isn't in the water yet I know she will be the prettiest boat at the club ;-)....... See I have been reading! I live in Edmonton, Alberta and purchased the boat in Gimli, Manitoba. This past weekend I completed the trailering of the boat here where I hope to launch in the next couple of weeks. This being a first sail boat for me I am a bit intimidated since this is the first stepping of the mast for me.
