We had a nice trip to Rock Hall, if not as nice of a sail. The wind was not
consistent enough for a good sail over and hadn't filled in yet going home. I
mainly motored home (southbound) with light/variable from the south and
anchored off Kent Island for lunch and nap time. After lunch while we were
relaxing the wind came up strong from the north for the last 1/2 mile to the
slip. Should have stayed in Rock Hall until afternoon.....
Times must be hard for marinas with our endless winter. Rock Hall Landing was
so happy to have some business they gave us a discount at only $1/foot and had
no fewer than *five* people on hand to take our lines and connect the shore
power. We have got discounts like that before, but that was in February and
March!

Right now Touché is beam reaching eastbound in Mississippi Sound off Biloxi at
7+ knots. 18 knots from NNW. Sunny but a bit cool by my standards. 51F. Hope
to make The Wharf Marina in the ICW by 6 tonight.

Yesterday was wet and cool. Rained
Most of the way. Averaged 7+ knots from Mandeville to Gulfport making the 64 nm
in 9 hours.

Plan to dock in Pensacola Sunday afternoon and haul out on Monday.
