HiC&C folks,
This is perhaps spam, but as a C&C sailing father, I am so proud, but also in
awe of my grown child's, Cal Harben, Art Residency with The Arctic Circle
program! The June Expedition sails on a traditional 156' Barquentine from the
most northern tip of Norway. The family tradition of sailing adventures
continues into the next generation gene pool!
The mission, the boat and the route are found at:

Cal’s artistic professional experience for success in being selected are found

Cal is thrilled for this trip opportunity to forge her art. Her return travel
to Canada includes arts in Berlin Germany and scuba diving in Iceland.

Although I have wheedled and whined to be taken along ..... my father pleas
have been responded to with questions to Dad about how to raise the remaining
funds needed, especially for techy gear cameras and clothing! I can hear you
all now, “Don she has your outdoor, environmental, sailing and techy genes.
I am here in your email as part of Cal’s fund raising support team:
support my Residency with The Arctic Circle program!

I hope that we will connect on the water this summer in somewhat smaller boats,
sailing, canoeing or kayaking.
Cal plans on sailing on "Life" at NCYC later in the summer.

Objective in Life....not to arrive at death's door softly and gracefully, in a
well preserved body....but to splash in broadside, totally used and spent,
screaming, "Wow. What a sail!"
