I was also using another Jacksonville company's product today.  Also in your 
neighborhood.  I bought new LED cabin lights and wanted to protect them.  Don't 
trust the titanium oxide coating so I disassembled them and sprayed all the 
parts with SuperShield from Shield Products, 11674 Gran Crique Ct. N., 
Jacksonville, FL. 32223.

I put SuperShield on some new Perko cowl vents before I installed them on the 
transom a few years ago.  The old ones pitted in the salt/brackish environment. 
 The protected ones still look like new.
